Cynthia Cabrera is founder and president of Global Solutions & Services, Inc. which has become the go to firm for national and multinationals who want increased efficiencies and reduced costs. She provides logistics process consulting, training services and international trade management to a large variety of firms. She has worked for NVO’s, freight forwarders, trucking companies, cargo airlines and logistics service providers as an employee and now as a consultant to them. This range of experience has given Cynthia a unique perspective on logistics and international trade that allows her to provide shippers, importers, manufacturers, and export management companies with a heightened level of insight and execution.
Using Lean Principles to identify and eliminate waste and repetition, Cynthia employs operational analysis and key performance metrics to ensure that her clients enjoy the benefits of consultancy or training for the long term.
She is a certified member of ASTL (American Society of Transportation & Logistics), Women In International Trade (WIT - Miami), is a speaker with the Nightingale Conant Speakers Bureau and is active on the boards of several not for profit organizations in South Florida including the International Swimming Hall of Fame and Unity of Hollywood.
She has written curriculums at the college level on international trade and logistics and earned a degree in International Marketing before embarking on her logistics career. She has 15 years of experience in international trade and logistics and travels frequently to speak on the subject. She has worked with groups ranging from Latin American coffee growers to yacht manufacturers to U.S. manufacturing firms searching for cost reductions and increased efficiencies.
