Julie Dow has over twenty years experience in project, financial and procurement management, including ten years working for Defense Contractors, primarily on Navy related work. Her experience includes financial management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, contracts management, procurement, project management and process improvement for major manufacturing, R&D, engineering and construction projects.
Julie's background includes the following held positions: Strategic Profit Solutions, Inc., President; Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Business Manager; Lockheed Martin, Finance Manager; Bluegreen Corporation, Director of Process Management; Smith Barney, Financial Consultant; Absolutely Perfect Catering Company, Owner/President.
She recently was a Foundation Board Member of the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, and served on the Board of Directors as well as holding the position of Vice President. Julie was also affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, ATHENA Committee Co-Chair, Women in Business Committee Mentor and was a Business Mentor for Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.
A Johns Hopkins University Alumnus, Julie holds a Master of Business Administration with Honors, in Management/Finance. She also earned a Bachelor of Administrative Science with Honors in Finance at Guilford College and was licensed in Series 7, 63, and 65.
