Mr. Anderson is an established and respected business leader with extensive experience and accomplishments driving both private and public sector organizations. He has significant federal, state and local government experience, with recent experience as a chief executive with an international privately held international tanker operation.

He recently completed serving in the US House of Representatives, Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure as a Senior Fellow. He worked directly for the Ranking Member of the Committee, Cong. John Mica (R-FL), and provided him business perspective on national transportation issues. He planned business roundtable meetings, working with leaders of transportation industry trade associations and their senior leadership, met with industry leaders, and presented their views to the Republican members of the committee.

His areas of expertise include includes federal regulatory affairs, transportation policy, tanker operations, infrastructure and intermodal and congressional relations and public affairs. He was appointed to the Federal Maritime Commission in 2003 by President George W. Bush where his responsibilities included serving as a Member of the Committee on the Marine Transportation System, a cabinet level partnership of Federal agencies with responsibility for the United States' Marine Transportation System (MTS) - waterways, ports and their intermodal connections - to ensure the development and implementation of national MTS policies consistent with national needs and report to the President its views and recommendations for improving the MTS.

Paul's professional background includes serving as an aide to the late United States Senator Paul Hawkins, Congressman Connie Mack and most recently a Senior Fellow for the Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure. He also has extensive maritime operations and management experience having worked for 10 years at Seabulk Marine, a diversified international tanker, tugboat and offshore supply vessel operator based in Port Everglades, Florida. He has also served in the leadership of several maritime trade associations including American Waterways Operators, the American Institute of Merchant Shipping and Port Everglades Association and maritime and as an intermodal subject matter expert for Florida governors Charlie Christ and Jeb Bush.
