A.J. Tony Vasil is President of A. J. Vasil Associates, Inc. a sales, marketing and trade development company involved in both domestic and international transportation and logistics that was incorporated in New Jersey in 1987.

A.J. Vasil Associates, Inc. has a total of over 27 years of performing sales, marketing and trade development in the port sector. They have been performing the world-wide sales, marketing and trade development effort for the Port of Albany, NY since 1987. Prior to and during that time the Jacksonville, Florida Port Authority for 10 years. In addition, they have performed various functions in the cargo and cruise sectors for the Port of Genoa, Italy since 1994.

A.J. Vasil Associates, Inc. also performs sales and marketing for Pacer Global Logistics, one of the largest intermodal marketing companies in the country, involved in movement of containers and trailers via rail. We also handle LTL and truckload, heavy haul/dimensional trucking and warehousing for various clients.

A. J. Vasil Associates, Inc. also performed sales and marketing for a mid-Atlantic stevedore and terminal operator.

The company is at the forefront of the Container on Barge Short Sea initiative as the lead independent sales and marketing company for the ALBANY EXPRESS BARGE Service operating between the Ports of Albany, NY and the Port of New York & New Jersey.

Tony has experience in the railroad industry with the Santa Fe and Illinois Central Gulf railroads and was a partner in a New York City based steamship agency.

He is a former President of the Railway Industrial Clearance Association (RICA) and the National Export Traffic League (NETL). He was also involved with the Journal of Commerce in the development of BreakBulk Transpo in New Orleans, LA between 1994 and 2002.
